Description

We've been hearing from a lot of our visitors to Hanalei that they absolutely love our decaf! We're pretty stoked about it too - we only use Swiss-Water processed coffee and give it a dark roast, which results in a really deep, rich flavor.

When you order from Hanalei Coffee Roasters, we make sure to send you our coffee as whole beans in these nifty one pound resealable bags, so that it stays nice and fresh for you. And don't worry about the shipping - we send it out through USPS Priority Mail. Cheers!

Coffee order.

About 15 years ago, my family and I while on a family vacation ran into your coffee shop. Ever since then I have ordered with regularity coffee and tea as stocking stuffer Christmas gifts. The other night I woke up wondering why there was such a difference in the price of the coffee beans. Much to my surprise, after checking the bags, all but one were from Central America. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Why would you with flags flying be selling coffee beans from Hawaii and in the fine print note that the beans were from C.A.? The answer and misrepresentation may not be a credit to you. Why not be open and clear about your product? You have lost a loyal customer.

We’ve worked hard to ensure our website clearly separates International Beans from 100% Hawaiian beans. The bean origin is prominently displayed at the very top of the info sheet, as we want transparency to be front and center. That said, we’re always open to improvements—please let us know if there’s a way to make it even clearer!

Regarding the price difference, Hawaiian coffees reflect their exceptional quality and rarity. These beans are grown on some of the world’s most expensive agricultural land under strict USA labor laws and consistently win international awards. The price not only supports this but celebrates the incredible effort and expertise behind every cup.

Rich Dark Roast Decaf at last!

Since I first tasted this Decaf Dark Roast on Kauai years ago it is my go-to favorite. I have it shipped fresh roasted to my home in California. Now comes in more economical 5 lb. bags too. If you enjoy a rich dark roast for espresso you will want to give it a try!

Delicious coffee

They do the best roast on any coffee I’ve ever made at home. It’s so consistently delicious. I serve it to guests and they always talk about what delicious coffee I make.
